Engineering Management in Agribusiness is a program of doctoral studies designed pursuant to the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. The main objective of this study programme is to provide students with the opportunity to upgrade and improve the knowledge and skills they have previously acquired in the course of their master’s studies. With this program of doctoral studies students are expected to expand the scope of their competences and skills specifically in the domain of Industrial engineering and engineering management.
Furthermore, the main aim of doctoral studies in Engineering Management in Agribusiness is to help students learn about and apply state-of-the-art scientific achievements, so that later in their professional careers they are capable of organizing and managing national and international development projects, thus becoming recognized experts in the mentioned domain. Upon completion of doctoral studies students will be able to effectively apply and implement the acquired knowledge in practical situations, while working in the public or private sector, in various organizations, faculties, laboratories or research centers in the country and abroad.
Master’s programme in Economic-Legal Studies of the European Union is developed in cooperation with the University of Szeged and it is a new and unique programme in Serbia. This programme is based on the needs of developmental flow of modern society and it is placed in the framework of the current process of Serbia’s accession to the EU. The study programme is created in such a way that it can serve certain goals related to national strategy and policy as well as to widen the spectrum of potential opportunities for employment in Serbia and the EU.
Master’s programme in Engineering Management in Agribusiness is designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. Its main objective is to provide comprehensive and quality education, as well as to enable young specialists to successfully perform business activities in the field of engineering management in agricultural, livestock and food industry. Special emphasis is placed on providing students with highly specialised knowledge in engineering in agricultural production and engineering in food industry, with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of agricultural products market and trade, or in multifunctional production and agricultural policy and rural development.
Master’s programme in Business Economics and Finance is designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. Its main objective is to provide comprehensive and quality education as well as to enable young specialists to successfully perform business activities and solve problems in the field of business economics and finance. Special emphasis is placed on providing students with highly specialised knowledge in the domain of corporate finance and financial risk management, with the opportunity for students to specialize in the field of financial law, strategic marketing, innovation management, business intelligence or international business.
Continuously following innovations and global trends in education, Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management spent several months working on the design and implementation of a system for distance learning - DLS (Distance Learning System). Being a proactive institution focused on continuous development and implementation of modern educational trends, Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management in Novi Sad successfully accredited distance learning for two study programs: Business Economics and Finance and International Economics and Economic Diplomacy.
Study program Bachelor of Ecology has been designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. Its main objective is to provide comprehensive and quality education, as well as to prepare generations of young professionals for successful business and/or academic careers in the field of ecology. Another important objective of the study program “Bachelor of Ecology” is to provide students with competencies and skills needed for employment in various organizations engaged in ecology and environmental protection management.
