Traffic engineering
Study program Traffic Engineering is conceptualized in accordance with the Law on Higher Education, Bologna Declaration and the standards for accreditation.
The Traffic Engineering study program is intended for those who want to acquire substantial and high-quality, both theoretical and practical knowledge, which will enable them to become successful professionals capable of planning, designing, managing and controlling processes and systems in various types, areas and technologies of traffic, passenger and freight transport, communications and logistics.
Upon completion of this study program students gain competences to analyze, foresee and manage complex traffic systems. In addition, students will acquire competencies which respond to market demands in the domain of transport, design and management of physical and informational flows in road, as well as in various types of intermodal traffic as well as multimodal traffic.
There is an internship program organized for students as a part of teaching process in order to gain competencies which are required by contemporary labor market and thus ensure secure employment.
The teaching process is interactive and is realized in small groups and through mentoring work. Through this interactive teaching process, the emphasis is on highlighting their individual and creative development, teamwork, acquiring practical knowledge and using modern technologies, as well as working on establishing a direct contact between students and teachers. Visits of experts in the field of economy also contribute to the quality of lecturing.
The traffic engineering study program lasts four years and upon its completion, students acquire 240 ESPB points and the title of BACHELOR in TRAFFIC ENGINEERING.
After graduating from study program Traffic Engineering students will have many opportunities to find a job in:
- traffic and transport companies
- production, industrial companies
- trading and distribution companies
- freight forwarding and transport companies
- road and railway passenger terminals and freight stations, ports and airports
- organizations that deal with traffic safety
