Environmental engineering
Study program "Environmental engineering" has been conceptualized in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and the standards for accreditation.
The purpose of “Environmental engineering” study program is education and training of students for profession of Bachelor of Environmental Engineering. Having in mind the constant increase in problems in environment there is a constant need for competent staff in the field of Environmental engineering, who will be trained to manage the environment responsibly.
The main objective of study program “Environmental engineering” is providing comprehensive and quality education, that is training of professionals for responsible managing and solving the problems in the field of Environmental engineering/environmental protection. Another important objective of this study program is gaining professional who is ready to recommend solutions which will improve the quality of environmental elements and indirectly the quality of life of a modern human.
Undergraduate academic studies study program “Environmental engineering” lasts four years. Upon the completion of the study program “environmental engineering” a student acquires 240 ECTS points, and is conferred the academic degree of a BACHELOR of ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING. After finishing this study program students can continue with master studies which last 1 year.
Teaching is carried out in small groups through mentoring work where students establish direct contacts with their teachers, and with the emphasis on individual development of students, teamwork through development of interpersonal skills, practical knowledge and use of modern technology.
Occasional visits of experts in the field of economy also contribute to the quality of lecturing.
