Engineering Management in Agribusiness

Study program Bachelor of Engineering Management in Agribusiness is designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. Its main objective is to provide comprehensive and quality education, as well as to prepare generations of young professionals for successful business and/or academic careers in the field of biotechnology by implementation of engineering and managerial skills and knowledge.

Another important objective of the study program “Bachelor of Engineering Management in Agribusiness” is to provide students with competencies and skills needed for employment in various organizations engaged in agribusiness and agriculture. The demand for young and competent staff in the area of agribusiness and agriculture is increasingly on the rise with the contemporary development of society. The need for this new profile of experts exists on the national as well as international level. Therefore, by implementation of this study program, through an adequate combination of interdisciplinary knowledge, our students will become highly qualified for jobs in numerous organizations in the domain of agriculture and agribusiness.

Undergraduate studies last 4 years and are worth 240 ECTS points/credits. Upon completion of the study program: “Engineering Management in Agribusiness”, students are conferred the academic degree of a BACHELOR of ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT IN AGRIBUSINESS, after which students can continue with master studies which last 1 year.

Teaching is carried out in small groups where students work in direct contact with their teachers and mentors. Emphasis is put on individual development of students, creativity, teamwork, practical knowledge and use of modern technology. Occasional visits of economic experts also contribute to the quality of lecturing.
