International Economics and Economic Diplomacy

Study program Bachelor in International Economics and Economic Diplomacy is designed in accordance with the Law on Higher Education and Bologna Declaration. Its main objective is to provide comprehensive and quality education, as well as to prepare generations of young professionals for successful business and/or academic careers in the fields of international economics and economic diplomacy. Special emphasis is placed on providing the students with fundamental knowledge in micro- and macro-economics, management and marketing, as well as highly specialized knowledge in international business, European economic integration, international trade, international finance, international politics, economic diplomacy and international economic espionage.

The study program Bachelor in International Economics and Economic Diplomacy presents to our students the various aspects and models of contemporary business, thus helping them understand the essence of international economics and their significance for the development of economy and society as a whole. By mastering the content of this study program, our students become capable of doing business in the following areas: international business, finance, trade, marketing, economic diplomacy.

Undergraduate academic studies last 4 years and are worth 240 ECTS points/credits. Upon completion of the study program Bachelor in International Economics and Economic Diplomacy students are conferred the academic title of a BACHELOR OF ECONOMICS (BEcon.). Having earned this academic title, students can continue on to master’s studies which last one year.

Teaching is carried out in small groups where students work in direct contact with their teachers and mentors. Emphasis is put on individual development of students, creativity, teamwork, practical knowledge and use of modern technology. Occasional visits of economic experts also contribute to the quality of lecturing.
